Headland Harvest Festival

My family and I simply call this festival "Harvest Day," and we have been many times over the years. This year is special, as they will be celebrating the 50th annual Headland Harvest Festival! The festival pays tribute to local farmers and the year's harvest and takes place in the Headland square.

The event will take place October 8 & 9, beginning the festival that Friday evening with music by the Velcro Pygmies and food from local vendors. Saturday morning is kicked off with the Annual Harvest Run, and the rest of the morning and early afternoon is celebrated with food, entertainment, inflatables, and vendors from the community! I definitely recommend spending at least a few hours at Harvest Day!

Corndodgers Farm

Another great way to celebrate fall in Headland is at Corndodgers Farm. Fall fun begins October 2 and lasts through October 31.

Corndodgers is definitely a favorite among the kiddos. They can get lost in a corn maze, slide down a super slide, ride a cow train, take a wagon ride, and so much more! Whether you need a meal or a snack, they have that too. Corndodgers has done an excellent job of adding new attractions every year as they continue to grow.
