Your 2020 Family Bucket List + Printable
Typically people think of bucket lists as life time achievements for one person. Why would we want to limit ourselves in that way? Do something different this year and create a bucket list for your entire family! I have put together a family bucket list printable that is perfect for you guys!
Tips for Your Bucket List
Creating a bucket list sounds like a fantastic idea, and it's easy to get excited about it. If you're like me, you might write one or two things down then have to think... and think... about what else you should include.
Remember, this is only for one year, so it doesn't have to be something that takes a monumental amount of time or savings to complete.
Here are some prompts you can use to inspire you:
- Go
- Cook
- Read
- Watch
- Find
- Visit
- Create
- Give
- Begin
- Achieve
The world is your oyster! Don't stop here. If you think of a goal that isn't born from the prompts above, go with it and write it down!
You can use the bucket list solely for goals to achieve together as a family or you can mix family goals with individual goals for each member of the family!
Have fun with it! Consider sitting down with your family and creating the goals as a family.
Remember
This isn't supposed to be overwhelming or stressful. I know you're busy and adding goals can just be something else on your never ending to-do list. Let this be fun!
You don't have to choose goals that are far fetched. If you want to watch that movie as a family during Christmas but didn't get to last year, put that on there!
This can be as small or as large as you want it to be. You are in control!
TIP: If you are seeing this well into the year, consider making it a "Summer Bucket List" or a "Winter Bucket List."

I have included a full color option, as well as a shades of grey option for those who cannot print in color, or happen to be out of color like I am most of the time. In the print settings, simply ask it to print Page 1 or Page 2 depending on which you prefer.
I would love to hear what you guys are planning! Drop some of the goals you come up with in the comments below.
After you create some fun family goals, consider a word of the year for yourself. Never heard of such a thing? Not sure how to choose your word? Here you can learn how to choose your word and see what my word of the year is for 2020.
